2024 Conference
Renewing Conviviality
In June 2024, the Polanyi Society sponsored a conference for the purpose of (1) assessing recent efforts aimed at demonstrating the abiding relevance of Polanyi’s thought, (2) providing those interested in Polanyi with an opportunity to reconnect following the hiatus prompted by the Covid-19 pandemic, and (3) providing those beginning their study of Polanyi an opportunity to interact with experienced Polanyi scholars.
The conference was held 4-7 June 2024 (Tue-Fri) at Nashotah House Theological Seminary in Nashotah, WI (west of Milwaukee, just off of I-94). The nearest international airport is General Mitchell International Airport (MKE) in Milwaukee, about 45 minutes away; Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport (ORD) is about two hours away.
