- The 2015 annual meeting of the Polanyi Society will be held 20-21 November in Atlanta, GA, at which time the Society will host Thomas Pfau, the Alice Mary Baldwin Professor of English and Professor of German at Duke University.
- Dr. Pfau’s recent book, Minding the Modern: Human Agency, Intellectual Traditions, and Responsible Knowing draws on various elements of Polanyi’s philosophical work and explores a number of themes related to post-critical philosophy and the contemporary study of the humanities.
